Demonstration area

Observing how different food crops grow at this altitude, in this soil, in these climatic conditions supported by composting and water harvesting.

Trying out new or 'forgotten' food crops to enhance food security and income generation.

Sharing with members of the local community through demonstration, observation and experience.

Ecosystem Nature Trail in development

Walk and talk; listen and observe; learn and experience: - birds and insects, plants and trees, the stories of indigenous, naturalised and exotic species.

Tree and plant nursery

Trees, including indigenous species, fruit trees, shrubs and flowers to enhance food security, nurture the environment and feast the eyes.
